Join the Lebanon Mason Monroe (LM&M) Railroad on a train ride behind a real working steam locomotive! The LM&M Railroad is proud to announce the arrival of Flagg Coal #75. For the first time since the 1950’s, the sound of a steam locomotive whistle will return to the town of Lebanon, Ohio. Bring kids, grandparents, or a friend and experience the sights and sounds of railroad travel before the advent of the diesel locomotive—Ride behind the steam engine, talk with the cab crew, watch the maintenance and servicing, and take pictures of the locomotive in action!
Event T-shirts will be available for sale!

The gondola will be positioned behind the steam locomotive so riders can view the fireman working on the coal engine. Riders will board their chosen car and then proceed to the gondola after conductors have punched tickets.
Passengers who are lucky enough to be riding when the steam engine is used must be forewarned- water and soot from the stack deposit onto unsuspecting passengers riding in the first open-air car. |
