What hours is the office open?

Our winter hours are as follows: Monday-Friday 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.. Closed Satuday and Sunday.

  • Are the trains handicapped accessible?

No, the LM&M Railroad’s vintage train cars where constructed in the 1930’s and were not designed to be handicapped accessible.

  • Are the trains heated for winter events?

Our trains are not heated.  Please dress warmly for events held during the winter.

  • Are there restrooms on the train?

There are no restrooms on the train.  There are public restrooms outside of Lebanon Station and on rides with a destination, Portolets are available at the destination.

  • Are tickets exchangeable or refundable?

The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad has a No Refund Policy that is strictly enforced, however under extenuating circumstances, if you cannot make your date, we will exchange them for an alternate date and/or time.

  • Can tickets be purchased at the station?

All rides have a limited number of tickets and are sold on a first come, first served basis. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the station during regular business hours in person, over the phone at 513-933-8022, fax at 513-228-1920 or email (to find an order form go to the page of the ride you would like tickets for) and via TicketWeb our online ticket system 24 hours a day. If there any unsold tickets available on the day of the ride, they will go on sale one hour before the first departure time for that date.

  • When is the ticket office open?

Monday & Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday - Friday: 9 am - 3 pm

Saturday & Sunday: (When running rides) 1 hour before the first departure to

1 hour after the last ride returns

Yes!  We offer a group discount of 20% off groups of twenty people or more.

  • How far in advance should I arrive?

The train leaves promptly at the scheduled departure time and cannot wait for passengers who are running late.  We recommend all passengers plan to arrive 45 minutes prior to their departure time in order to allow enough time to park, pick up or purchase tickets, and accommodate any other unexpected delays.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Advance reservation and payment are preferred for those who want to be guaranteed a ticket. Tickets are sold on a first come basis.

 

  • Where can I purchase tickets in advance?

Advance tickets for all train rides can be purchased online at www.LebanonRR.com, by phone at 1-513-933-8022, or at the LM&M Ticket Office & Gift Shop during regular ticket office hours and on ride days.  Winter Office Hours are: Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

  • If I purchased advance tickets, and I do not arrive 45 minutes early, will my tickets be put into standby and sold to the public?

Once you have purchased your ticket, your space on the train is reserved for your scheduled train ride.  However please be advised that 5 minutes before the departure time on sold out rides, after all passengers have boarded, the Ticket Office will begin selling tickets for any remaining empty seats on the train to passengers on the Waiting List.  Should you be running late, please call ahead and inform the Ticket Office to ensure that your tickets will not be resold.  The train leaves at its scheduled departure time and will not wait for passengers arriving after that time.

  • Where does the train go?

The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad's excursions currently travel to two different locations.

For most events, the train goes 4.4 miles north at a speed of 10 mph to a picnic grove situated along the tracks behind the Southwest Golf Ranch, located at 2880 S. US Route 42 in Lebanon, Ohio.

For the Pumpkin Patch Express, the train goes to Schappacher Farms, located at 3829 S. US Route 42 in Lebanon, Ohio.
